DeWALT DC385 18V Heavy-Duty Cordless Reciprocating Saw - Tool Only Customer Review: Doesn’ t fit the battery
For the price, I’m pretty satisfied with this saw. The first time I used it, however, I was rather shocked that the battery fell off. It doesn’t quit fit the standard DeWalt batteries. I’m now using a bungy cord to keep the battery in place–which makes it easier than holding the battery on to the saw with one hand while using it.

Great tool. Can’t wait for battery technology to come around, so that these tools can get a little lighter. Although, this tool is lighter than my old AC powered Porter Cable Sawzall.

Cousin installed it in about fifteen minutes, works great, really like the seperate power, so that saw doesn’t have to start to get a laser on material.

I AGREE WITH J.STARK’S REVIEW! I followed the directions, reviewed the video on Dewalt’s website, took my time with the adjustments and now my DW718 cuts right on the laser line. I have a Delta 12 inch saw with a double laser line that is right on so I figured that I would be disappointed in the Dewalt laser considering all the negative reviews. However, after reading J. Stark’s review I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Folks, if you can read/follow directions and have a little patience then you can get this laser to work as well as those on other saws. By the way, if you go to Dewalt’s site and look up mitre saws the video link will be looking right at you! DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THIS LASER!

These 6 DeWalt reciprocating wood cutting saw blades are the perfect touch to your saws wood cutting needs. I was very impressed with the quality that was put into this blade. In most cases I was using two blades to cut out a small hole in a wall with my sears blades but these blades hold up better and last longer. Best of all the price is right. You won’t go wrong with these blades.
