Customer Review: Festive and fun
I’ve used these lights each Christmas for 2 years now. They’re really fun and festive and add a lot of light to the Christmas tree. They can be particularly useful for drawing attention to the ornaments, which seem to light up when they’re placed near the garland.

One point to note, each ball on the garland has a hole in both ends that the cable of lights runs through. These holes are significantly bigger than the wire, and as the balls shift around you can sometimes see the light through the hole instead of through the plastic ball. The end result is that in a few places, instead of seeing the glow of the ball you see the bright light that’s inside the ball.

Also, care needs to be taken when storing and moving the garland because the balls will get marks on them if they rub together a lot or if they’re squeezed in storage.

I purchased 2 of these garlands and they are amazing. The irridescence picks up any and all colors near it and the sparkle is nothing short of WOW! I plan to use these garlands on my fireplace mantle, along with some greenery for a real punch of sparkle. Great for the money!

JET 354170/JDP-20MF 20-Inch Floor Drill Press Tons of power and Jet’s renowned accuracy make this a great choice for the professional as well as the choosy home woodworker. The smooth-traveling table raises and lowers at the turn of a crank to exactly where you need it; the 3/4-inch chuck rides smoothly up and down. Angled drilling is no problem, because the rock-solid large worktable tilts to 45 degrees. The table is round, and that has its advantages, but it does give you a little less room for clamping. When it’s time to change drill speed to any of the 12 speeds ranging from 150 to 4,200 rpm, just flip open the hinged metal cover, disengage the motor, slip the belt onto the right pulley and you’re back at work in a flash. Customer Review: Quality
If your looking for A well built drill press this is the one, believe me I’ve looked high and low and whats on the market doesn’t compare unless your willing to spend $2600.00 on up. The pulleys are heavy duty, the body and base are heavy duty, the motor is 3/4 hp 110 or 220, the light and on and off motor buttons are located perfectly, I haven’t seen A drill press this well built in 25 years for the price, it was worth every penny so don’t be stupid and buy an under rated drill press that can’t even drill through A piece of 3/16″ steel without freezing up, if you want A power horse this is the press for you, I’m so happy someone still makes A qualitity press that’s affordable, Thanks Jet.

DeWALT DC330K Heavy-Duty XRP 18-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Top Handle Jig Saw Kit Gentle curves, sharp turns, circles, ovals or straight cuts, it’s all a cinch with this DeWalt. It’s got so much power, it can easily take on jobs you’d normally hand to your circular saw, but it’s got the finesse you need for cutting curves.

Our pet peeve with jigsaws has always been the complicated, tooled method of changing a blade, but bravo to DeWalt for engineering this tool-free, practically effortless blade changeout system. The flip of a lever is all it takes, and you’re back on the job. It’s nice, too, to not have to handle that sizzling hot blade – the saw ejects it for you.

Control is phenomenal, and it really feels like the saw does the work for you. It’s on the heavy side at about 7 pounds, but that weight turns out to be an advantage. The motor powers the blade at 0 to 3,000 strokes per minute, so whether you’re cutting 1/8th-inch ply or a 2-by-4, this saw does not disappoint. In fact, it’s so powerful that it’s easy to forget that this is, after all, a cordless saw. You can tailor the speed and aggression to suit your cutting needs with a four-position selector that changes the attitude of the blade for different cutting applications. The non-marring shoe bevels to 45 degrees with positive stops, but we found it a tad difficult to determine the exact angle we’d set. A minor quibble, but one worth mentioning.

We particularly like how this saw feels in hand. Even though it’s weighty, it’s beautifully balanced, and the curved rubber grip feels good to grasp. The shape of the front of the tools lends itself nicely to your free hand for guidance. And while you’re cutting, the built-in dust blower really does a great job of keeping your cutting line clear. Carpenters and contractors will love this saw, and the do-it-yourselfer will find a hundred uses for it. Well worth the investment, we think. –Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Customer Review: Best jigsaw I’ve ever used!
As a long-time professional who has used (and abused) many jigsaws, I can say this one excels. My standby and favorite to date has been a corded Bosch, which has served me well and is amazingly durable. But one thing that has always annoyed me with it, and with every other jigsaw I have owned/used, is the inevitable chatter that happens when the saw is not carefully and intentionally pressed firmly against the work surface. I have never experienced this with the DeWalt.

At first, I thought the DeWalt’s weight would be an issue, but if anything, it is an asset and contributes to the natural balance, the smooth cut, the stability and lack of the tendency to chatter. The blade-changing system is excellent, and I have zero complaints about this tool.

Another thing that has annoyed me forever with any corded jigsaw is that because of the nature of the cuts one does with a jigsaw, the cord seems to be in the way often. It is a real luxury to not have to deal with that anymore!

Re: the reviewer who’s blade-lock lever broke (bummer), I’d bet he got a one-in-a-million faulty part there. That lever appears to be stout beyond any normal requirements.

Re: battery life, as pointed out by more than one reviewer already, this is rarely a primary tool, as nobody generally uses a jigsaw for hours on end. I have about 8 batteries in circulation for my dozen or so DeWalt tools (I love all of them), and so far I have never exhausted a battery on the jigsaw in a single day, much less a single cutting session.
